Different material and its finishing difference:
- Soft enamel: Metal areas are raised; colors are recessed, it’s the best and popular option when you need high quality at a lower cost.
- Hard enamel: Also named “Cloisonné” they are featured with solid colors, outlined with metal, it’s best choice for highest quality request.
- Die struck: Only metal without any color, but there are a lot plating colors which make your logo more recognizable and elegant.
- 3D cast : Similar to die struck but they are made by zinc alloy material, before casting, zinc alloy will be heated to liquid, so they can make the design more cubic or 3D.
- Photo etched: Etched enamel pins is to use a thinner metal than hard or soft enamel pins like 0.8mm, it’s an economical enamel made by acid surrounding chemical.
